Frequently Asked Questions

Data and Implementation

What is unstructured and irregularly structured data and the difference between them?

Unstructured data is, as the term says, data that has not particular structure to it. Irregularly structured data may have structure, but various sources of that data may be different.

How much training is required to use the product?

Neferdata offers a half day training session. In addition, we are happy to set up your full application for you for a fee of $200/hour. The total cost of most implementations is under 10 hours.

What is the average implementation time?

It normally takes 3-5 days to get an average application up and running.

Does it take an IT professional to implement Neferdata?

No, the purpose of our solution is for an average person to successfully run and manage an AI application.

How much effort is required in changing the application if things change on the data side?

None, if set up appropriately, Neferdata will automatically recognize changes to data structure.

Pricing and Subscription

Is there a monthly charge for the use of Neferdata or just an annual subscription?

We charge a monthly subscription amount with a 30-day cancellation period.

How do you handle price increases?

Your price remains the same for as long as you commit to Neferdata. In other words, if you sign a one-year agreement, your price will not change during that period. If we increase the price of our subscription, we can put limits as to what your price increase would be for the next commitment period.

Product Features

What is the difference between Knowledge Search No-Code and Knowledge Search API?

One allows you to use our application in the cloud while the other allows you to run your application internally.

Why would we not build our application ourselves?

Neferdata personnel are experts at this type of AI implementation and have been doing this since the beginning of AI. We will save your thousands of dollars of costs and many months of time because of our experience. And, in the end, most companies would not be able to build anything close to what we offer. This is a classic buy versus build discussion where the build option is too fraught with risks, too expensive and take so much time.

Evaluation and Support

What is a typical evaluation process for Neferdata?

We want to begin by understanding your needs and explaining a little about what we do and how we do it. Then, we will show you a demonstration of our capabilities to provide you with a better understanding of how we can help you with your data problem. After that, we would like to discuss how your implementation would work, which is to say you providing us with the data that we need to coordinate, and then discuss what we will do in the implementation and what what we expect you to do (mostly review our work and verify the results). If you are satisfied, we provide a written SOW and a subscription agreement for you. We then build your application for you. Then we train you on the use of your application and answer any questions that you have. Finally, we want you to become a reference account for us.

How do you prove that your product works for our application?

We do this through the evaluation process described above. If, for whatever reason, you are unsatisfied with your application, we will refund half of any money that you spent with us.

What is an ideal customer criteria?

An ideal customer is one who is struggling with some aspect of data. There is much manual work involved with using that data or formatting that data and the organization wants to provide better accuracy in a shorter time period with less effort. The application is normally one that is mission-critical to the organization. It must be done either manually or automatically, but it must be done.
